Spanish in Spain

At the Airport

A sign directing people to the Madrid Airport

Spanish international airports share all of the amenities of European airports: duty free shops, restaurants, bars, and bureaus where money can be changed. One can easily reach the airport by taxi or bus, although for tight schedules, a taxi is recommended. In Madrid and Barcelona, the subways have routes that travel to the airport. In Madrid, one can check baggage at the subway station before getting on the subway. For those with cars, there is ample and convenient airport parking.
