Trains
Trains are not local but rather scheduled to travel from city to city. Reservations are necessary and come in three classes. First class is the best choice because everything generally works. The second class is not air-conditioned and not as well-maintained; there are upper and lower berths. Third class is for both people and animals. In all classes, if there are toilets, they may not work and are not cleaned regularly. Luggage must be kept with passengers at all times to avoid its disappearing. Food is sometimes available but not necessarily sanitary; tea is drinkable, but one should have one's own glass. If planning a long journey, it is advisable to take food. It is safe for women to travel on trains.
