Getting Started

- Read and memorize the information in section III , pp. 29-31, that outlines independent subject pronouns, the present tense with mangi, completion marker, negation, the complement and object predicator, and the possessive.
- Listen to the questions and complete the exercises in section IV, p. 32.
Conversation Session Preparation
- Be prepared to participate in role playing situations treating greetings and partings that involve not only correct use of vocabulary and forms but that also include body language.
- Be prepared to create questions and to respond to both positive and negative questions posed by others.
- Be prepared to create dialogue that illustrates your understanding of mangi in the present tense.
- Be ready to illustrate your knowledge of the complement and object predicator by creating and replying to situations in which it is used.
